What do you see in the left graphic ?  Is it an ordinary vase? Or, perhaps a Kiddush cup?  Or did you notice the silhouette of two women's faces? 

The point is, there are many ways to view life and what it presents to us.  Pretoria Rosh Chodesh Women's Forum is a new concept for the modern Jewish woman interested in Jewish social, educational and cultural exchange.

We will be exploring various issues relevant to women and tantalizing our creativity through various creative media.   Rosh Chodesh is the monthly holiday marking the new month.  G-d gave the new month specifically to women as a day of celebration.  It was their reward for their firm faith in Him.

Today, Rosh Chodesh gives us a unique opportunity for reinforcing Jewsh values and identity, for understanding our tradition through our female ancestors, and for recognizing Jewish Women from every background as role models for the present.

We invite you to embark on this journey of discovery and unite with us in celebration here at Pretoria's Rosh Chodesh Women's Forum.
